Acharak

In this video you can see the fight against a little bit stronger mob you can find in the starting area of Tera, as well as me failing bit with slayer. The quest is "Acharak Attacks", isn't very hard to kill this miniboss but for squishy classes you should try your best to avoid his special attack.

Slayer Gameplay

This is video about low lvl slayer gameplay in Tera. I had a lot of fun playing this class and probably I'll try to get it to an higher lvl during betas and test it out bit more. On the downside slayer gets very few skills at start so it can be little bit repetitive.

Island of Dawn - Slideshow

Here is a little video I made with Tera screenshots I took during last event. The music is the High Elf Theme of Tera. The images are from the starting area called Island of Dawn, all races start their adventure there and it's an idyllic place full of meadows and waterfalls. I really liked this starting area, hope you like it too :P

After the disappointment of last weekend's sneak peek, yesterday I had the chance to try Tera during a game test. I played around with the character creator for quite some time and was really fun to have all those customization options, especially since every other mmorpg I have tried in the last couple of years had very few of them. The game features 6 races, each one able to chose between 8 classes.

                                               

Game itself seemed allot of fun, very different from normal mmorpgs I have played, the action combat works well except for few things like not being able to use any attack while jumping or not being able to stop some special skills while are being performed by the character. The world is quite a sight, everything is green and happy and fluffy, or at least in the first area of the game is like that. After Rift and SWTOR where war was the main theme and the game world is just a battlefield, this game felt allot more peaceful and relaxed.

There wasn't much time to try what Tera has to offer during this short sneak peek, but I really enjoyed the game and I'm looking forward to check it out more.
