Mystic (1-27) impressions.

After playing almost all classes available in Tera up to the 22-27 range, I can say that no class is as fun as mystic. There are two healing classes in Tera: priest and mystic, priest is more focussed on the healing aspect while mystic is more of a buffer class with minor healings. What makes mystic fun is the great mobility and original gameplay, early on you get the teleport spells that allows you to blink, making you very hard to catch in pvp situations and saves you from certain death, in case a boss or bam aggros you, in pve.

That been said, mystic has one of the lowest dps in the game, and unlike other mmorpgs where you can build your healer to do some decent dps, like in StarWars:TOR or Rift or WoW, in Tera doesn't seem possible to do it. So unless you like to heal and buff your party, avoid enemies trying to kill you, don't pick mystic in retail. :P




Even tho is totally possible to heal in instance or in a boss fight with a mystic, it's harder then doing it
with a priest. Mystic has only one direct heal and its dispel is a lock on skill instead of an aoe dispel like priest's one. As mystic you have the ability to conjure these balls that drop on ground and people of your party can pick up, when they do they receive an healing over time and a dispel from it, and you can conjure as many as you want before a fight. Personally I love the idea but feels very underpowered compared to the overwhelming group heals priest gets. Mystic buffs seems to be a big deal for a party and you always want a mystic in your group to finish an instance quick, but keeping those auras up consume your mana so you need to keep an eye out for it.
I'll try mystic more in next beta but most likely I'll pick this class for the actual game so I hope it keeps be fun and needed.
